From the company’s very first season comes Resident Choreographer Jill Eathorne Bahr’s enchanting epic interpretation of the dream-filled Shakespeare classic comedy with mischievous spirit Puck leading the way through the magical forest. The evening is paired with George Balanchine’s exciting and abstract Allegro Brilliante set to the music of Tschaikovsky and Jill Eathorne Bahr’s dark and menacing Poetry With A Splash of Red Blood set to the music of minimalist composer Philip Glass.

Charleston Ballet Theatre brings back an old favorite as this elegant and comic full length adaptation of the beloved classic takes the Charleston Music Hall stage. Back by popular demand, this ballet has been magically transformed from its Children Series version back into its fantastical and charming roots just in time for spring cleaning. A special treat for the entire family from CBT, our special pricing for this MainStage full length ballet is a thank you to all our wonderful freinds and supporters of our family friendly ballets.

The exclusive evening celebrating the greatest achievements in CBT’s history includes Geroge Balanchine’s ballet Who Cares? set to the music of George Gershwin, Jill Eathorne Bahr’s passion fueled career highlight Firebird to the music of Stravinsky and longtime beloved audience hit Bolero by Helena Barron.
